Projected Itinerary

What does a three week cultural and language immersion experience-of-a-lifetime look like?

• Day 1: Welcome to Perú! Group travels from the US to Lima, Perú, and then on to Cusco, Perú, where we'll be greeted by host families.

• Day 2: Orientation in Cusco, group meetings and a City Tour. 

• Days 3-7: Spanish classes at Amigos Spanish School, volunteering at Aldea Yanapay, cultural activities and time with host families.

• Days 8-9: An enchanting weekend trek to Uchuy Qosqo, beautiful and mostly untouristed ruins north of Cusco.

• Days 10-14: Spanish classes at Amigos Spanish School, volunteering at Aldea Yanapay, cultural activities and time with host families.

• Day 15: Leave Cusco for a tour of the Sacred Valley!

• Day 16-Day 18: Leave our hotel in the Sacred Valley to embark on our trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, considered one of the world's top three hikes!

• Day 19: At sunrise, through the Sun Gate, we'll arrive at Machu Picchu!!! After a morning at the ruins, we'll have a much deserved delicious lunch in Aguas Calientes, and then head back to Cusco.

• Day 20: Flight from Cusco to the US.

• Day 21: Arrive home speaking Spanish, with bags of gifts, flash cards full of photos, and friends and memories that will never be forgotten.
