Professional Tutor

Mitchel Smith

Hello! I grew up in eastern North Carolina and moved to Davidson to attend college. During high school I discovered my passion for mathematics and learning in general. This passion has been nourished during college and through tutoring opportunities. Tutoring gives me a wonderful way to share my passion for mathematics and learning, while at the same time helping someone else. I specialize in mathematics up to high school calculus, with a particular interest helping students understand the reasons why the math works the way it does. Outside of math, I enjoy video games and camping.
